Friday January 27th - SRCC "Fun Night" at the club. $10 each. The theme is "pizza and beer". Curling, cards, conversation and lots of good fellowship. Bring your friends and a wrapped recycled gift. This is a good venue for new curlers to learn the game and play a few ends to get the feel of it.
SRCC’s “RENOVATION RAFFLE” was held January 1 and congratulations go to Shane Hall, son of SRCC curlers Sandy and Wilf Hall. The raffle ticket was a "stocking stuffer" in Shane's stocking, and he was delighted to get the winning phone call. There are photos of the draw in our gallery, and a photo of Shane accepting the prize will be posted soon. Congratulations, Shane!
SRCC’s “RENOVATION RAFFLE” is underway. In return for helping us do swome much needed renovations, you could win a trip for two to the Five (5) Star Sandals Royal Hicacos Resort and Spa in Varadero, Cuba, travelling with Sunwing Vacations from Toronto, based on a departure date of 24 April 2012. Doesn’t that sound wonderful?

TUESDAY OCTOBER 4, 2011 - 7PM - Open House and Registration at the club. Leagues and fees are shown in the "Club Info" tab under the "other info" button. The registration form (attached) can be printed off and mailed in with your cheque, or taken to the club on the 4th. New member discounts - snowbird discounts. Curling is offered Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. Regular monthly "Friday fun nights" - bring your friends to try out the sport of curling. New members very welcome. MONDAY SEPTEMBER 12TH 2011 - SRCC FALL MEETING - 7pm at the club. All members are asked to attend. Decisions need to be made that affect the coming curling season and all members need to participate.
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2011 - 1:30PM - ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT “FUN” FUND-RAISER - Congratulations to our winners! Low Gross: Gary Coalter, Richard Scott, Don Schweitzer and Jim Grieve; Low Net: Fred Loucks, Marsh Hall, Larry O'Shaunessey and Earl Wuilleme. It was a great day - warm and sunny, and a good time was had by all that attended. Can't wait for next year.
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2011 - 1:30PM - ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT “FUN” FUND-RAISER - at Eagle Lake Golf and Country Club. There is still room for a team or individual golfers. Some of the fun items include a four person 10 hole scramble, low gross and low net team prizes, putting contest and prize draws, followed by a steak dinner at 5pm. Enjoy music by Sandy and Wilf Hall and others (bring your guitar or musical instrument). Followed up by a BBQ, this is an opportunity too good to miss.
